Dave Wang is the title character in The Legend of the Flying Swordsman, a martial arts drama based on the writings of Gu Long. Li Chun Foon (Dave Wang) is a swordsman who spends most of his days in a drunken state. While his swordplay suffers due to his inebriation, he still meets the lovely Snow (Gigi Lai), who agrees to become his wife. But Li is drunk to the gills even on their wedding day, which upsets his stern father (Japanese action legend Sonny Chiba). Even after the wedding. Li continues to spend too much time drinking.
